About Our Hunting Area
Licenses for special draw units must be obtained through the CO Division of Wildlife’s limited quota draw system. Unit 66, which we hunt, happens to be among those special areas. This translates to less hunters, more elk, and better elk quality! And it will make your hunting experience way different as compared to an over-the-counter type unit. Our permitted area covers over 350 square miles. It has been only hunted lightly over the past several years, resulting in an increase of the average age of bulls. Overall, this gives our clients an above average chance at an above average Colorado bull.
